The RECOMMIT Project reached another milestone with the successful Train the Trainer event held at UCLan Cyprus on January 9–10, 2024. Over two days, experts and participants engaged in insightful sessions aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge to support the project’s objectives.

On the first day, Dr. Vasiliki Christodoulou from UCLan Cyprus introduced the course and program theory, covering topics such as Civic Values and Personal Information. The day also featured an innovative session on Virtual Reality (VR) Training, led by Dr. Louis Nisiotis, highlighting cutting-edge learning techniques.

The second day brought further depth with sessions led by Dr. Carmen Hortensia Bora and Dr. Gabi Roseanu from the University of Oradea, who focused on Listening Skills, Interpersonal Boundaries, Social Decision Making, and Conflict Resolution. Additionally, Dr. Maria Petridou from the Theological School of the Church of Cyprus and Dr. Maria Sikki concluded the event by addressing Prosocial Responses and reinforcing the importance of Civic Values.

This event was a valuable step forward in the RECOMMIT Project’s journey, thanks to the dedication of facilitators and participants. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build knowledge and foster growth!
