Fifth online meeting with the partners for the RECOMMIT project 16/05/2023 On Tuesday 16/05/2023 at 14:00-15:30, the fifth online meeting of all the partners for the European RECOMMIT project was successfully held. In particular, members of all the participating organizations in the programme were present (5 from the T.S.C.C, 1 from the University of Oradea in Romania, 3 from the University UCLan Cyprus, 1 from Epanodos - The Greek Centre for the Social Reintegration of Ex-offenders in Greece, 2 from Enoros Consulting LTD in Cyprus, and 1 from Associacio Social Andromines in Spain).

During the online meeting, Mrs Martha Lempesi informed the partners about the Information Day that took place on Wednesday 03/04/2023, online with the participation of the staff from several prisons in Greece. Mrs Lempesi then referred to the document “Legal Framework for Education and New Technologies in Prison” which she has already shared with partners. Dr Vasiliki Christodoulou then took the floor and said that all the results had been analysed in all the languages and it was found that the results of the literature review and the Delfi questionnaire were similar. An online meeting for the analysis of the questionnaires and the creation of the scenarios was set for Tuesday 30/05/2023 at 12:30-14:00 (Cyprus time), the meeting will be attended by: from the T.S.C.C. Dr Olga Solomontos-Kountouri, Dr Maria Petridou, Dr Maria Sikki, from UCLan Cyprus Dr Vasiliki Christodoulou and Mrs Stavroula Andreou and from the University of Oradea Dr Carmen Bora, Dr Simona Trip and Dr Gabi Roseanu. Then, Dr Louis Nisiotis presented his suggestions for the topics of the scenarios that the virtual reality activities will have. At this point, Mrs Irini Smeraidou took the floor, who stressed that all partners must, no later than 31/05/2023, have uploaded in Onedrive the completed timesheet, Financial Report, Activity Report, Dissemination Report as well as the contracts of all members involved in the project. Mrs Angela Symeonidou by showing a Power Point presentation informed the partners about what they have to do regarding WP2 “Dissemination, Exploitation of Results and Sustainability”. Finally, Dr Carmen Bora took the floor, who through a Power Point presentation, talked about the creation of the Train the Trainer Manual and through the discussion that followed, it was decided that trainers should also have at least one course of familiarization with virtual reality.

The partners made an appointment for the next online meeting of the project on 20/06/2023.
